Does it require special tools?

The TPMS Sensors require an TPMS programming tool to work. These sensors come blank and must be programmed to match your vehicle's make, model, and year before installation.

Yes, the MX-Sensor can be programmed before or after installation. Based on tge signal strength, you can program these sensors wirelessly even after they're already mounted on the wheels.

No, the battery in the TPMS Sensors is not replaceable. The battery is sealed inside the sensor and cannot be removed or replaced.
